About Me

Born and raised in the small town of Martinsville, VA (Think of Nascar), I have always been drawn to computers and technology, so pursuing my Associate's in Business Administration and Bachelor's in Network Security at ECPI University was a natural fit for me.

Over the past 8 years, I have built my career in business analysis and quality assurance, working in complex application development environments. I learned how to dig into requirements, keep testing structured, and make sure releases were actually ready before they went out the door. I genuinely enjoy that kind of work because every project is different and there is always a problem worth solving.

Recently, I completed the RiseUp with ServiceNow Bootcamp and it clicked for me in a way I did not expect. Everything I had been doing for years on the business and QA side gave me a strong foundation to actually build in ServiceNow, not just understand it. I built two full applications on the platform and walked away knowing this is the direction I want to go. I am focused on Business Process Consulting and ServiceNow development. Alongside that, I have been learning AI governance, because as AI becomes a bigger part of how platforms and businesses operate, understanding how to use it responsibly and strategically makes sense to me. I am excited about where all of it is taking me.

“It sounds simple telling people to work hard and never quit, but to really execute and demonstrate those principles takes discipline and faith. Those are the two factors that I believe separate the good from the great; the successes from the failures.”
